Carlo Marenco Theatre

Costruito nel 1861 grazie all'iniziativa della Società Filodrammatica cebana e al sostegno dei cittadini, il teatro fu intitolato al drammaturgo locale Carlo Marenco, figura di spicco del romanticismo italiano.

Progettato in stile all'italiana dall'ingegnere Giovanni Levi, è un piccolo gioiello ottocentesco che conserva intatta la sua bellezza: platea a ferro di cavallo, tre ordini di palchi lignei, soffitto affrescato, acustica eccellente.

After decades of intense activity and transformation the Marenco reopened in 2007 completely restored, ready to welcome a new season of cultural life.
